Job Description:
Responsible for installing, wiring and testing electrical systems and components within the
pump house and other areas of custom fire trucks and emergency vehicles
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install and connect wiring, switches
- Controls, lighting
- Gauges and electrical components
- Read electrical diagrams and schematics
- Troubleshoot electrical issues
- Route and secure wiring
- Test completed systems
- Work with production teams during vehicle assembly
Experience
Previous automotive, truck, heavy equipment or industrial electrical experience preferred.
Education
Electrical, automotive electrical or related technical training preferred
Skills
- Ability to read wiring diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of 12V/24V electrical systems
- Ability to use electrical testing equipment and hand tools
