QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Find answers to common questions about our fire apparatus, customization options, and after-sales support—all in one place.
What information do I need to submit a warranty claim?
To start your claim, we’ll need your apparatus type, the year it was built, your department information, and a description of the issue. Photos or video of the problem are helpful too, but not required to begin the review.
How long does the warranty review process take?
Most claims are reviewed within a few business days of submission. We’ll reach out as soon as the warranty team has assessed the details. Claims involving out-of-service equipment are prioritized to keep your truck on the road.
What does the manufacturer warranty cover?
Coverage varies depending on the truck builder, the year, and the specific component. Once you submit your claim, our team will review the details and confirm what’s covered under your truck’s original warranty terms.
Can I file a claim if my truck is out of province?
Yes. We support fire departments across Canada and into the U.S. Even if you’re far from our Brampton facility, our team can coordinate the repair — whether that means shipping parts, working with a local technician, or arranging mobile service.
Will my truck need to come to your facility for the repair?
Not always. Many warranty repairs can be done at your station with our mobile service team. For larger or more complex jobs, we may ask that the truck come to our facility. We’ll let you know what makes sense once the issue has been reviewed.
What if the part that failed was made by a different manufacturer?
We work with the component manufacturer directly to handle the claim on your behalf. That way you don’t have to contact multiple suppliers — we manage the warranty side so you can focus on getting your truck back in service.
Is there a deadline for filing a warranty claim?
Yes — every warranty has a coverage period, and claims need to be filed while the warranty is still active. We recommend submitting your claim as soon as the issue is noticed so the review can start without delay.
Can someone other than the Fire Chief submit the claim?
Absolutely. Anyone authorized by your department can file a claim. The form asks for your role so we know who to follow up with. Our team will keep you informed throughout the process.
