Position Overview
Dependable Emergency Vehicles is seeking a Stainless Steel Pipe Fitter to fit, assemble, and install stainless steel piping systems used in custom fire trucks and emergency vehicles.
This role requires strong measuring and fitting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately from drawings and measurements in a custom manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, fit, and assemble stainless steel piping
- Read and interpret drawings and measurements
- Install piping and related components
- Fit components accurately within custom vehicle assemblies
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality
- Assist with piping, plumbing, and related vehicle systems
- Assist with final vehicle assembly
- Assist with custom fire truck and emergency vehicle builds
- Work collaboratively with other members of the production team
Experience
Previous experience in pipe fitting, stainless steel fabrication, welding, plumbing, automotive, or manufacturing is preferred.
Education
Pipe fitting, welding, fabrication, plumbing, or related trade training is preferred.

- Strong measuring and fitting skills
